Our Nutrition Services

Nutrition Counselling

AF Nutritionists will counsel athletes on the optimal nutrition goals for their specific training regimen and give out recommendations on nutrition requirements for exercise training, recovery from exercise, hydration, competition, weight management, immunity, eating disorders, proper supplementation and travel. For example, the AF Nutrition Team will be there to explain the metabolic processes based on your sport and which foods will best fuel your activity.

Nutrition Plans

Our Sports Nutrition Experts create customised nutrition plans for the athletes they work with to help them achieve both dietary and professional goals. In addition, we will identify and address any nutritional challenges such as food allergies, along with vitamin and mineral deficiencies. But also, the AF Nutrition Team will provide nutritional guidance to help athletes suffering from injuries or illnesses to heal as quickly as possible.

Body Testing

Before our Nutrition Team can make personalized recommendations to athletes, we conduct individual assessments such as:

1) body composition testing to determine the ratio of water, fat, and muscle in the athlete, and

2) metabolic analysis testing to determine the metabolic efficiency of the athlete’s body.

Food Services and Menu Development

Whether we work with an entire team of athletes or individual athletes, we can include arranging for food services and developing menus, as we want to make sure that our athletes receive proper nutrition both at home, and when traveling. Therefore, our AF Nutrition Team often works with catering companies, hotels, and airlines to ensure all dietary needs of our athletes are continuously met.
